Super Bowl 2027: Frequently Asked Questions

Super Bowl LXI is on Sunday, February 14, 2027 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The kickoff time has not been confirmed yet. It is the first Super Bowl played on Valentine’s Day and the first on Presidents’ Day weekend.

SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, about ten miles southwest of downtown Los Angeles and four miles from LAX. This is the ninth Super Bowl the Greater Los Angeles area has hosted, and the second at SoFi after Super Bowl LVI in 2022.

The week runs from Monday February 8 to game day on Sunday February 14. The NFL has not published dates for Opening Night, the Super Bowl Experience or NFL Honors yet. We add each one to our calendar the day it is announced rather than guessing at it now.

Nobody has been announced. The NFL normally names the halftime act in the autumn before the game, so word should come in the next few weeks. Plenty of sites will run the rumours. We will put the name here when it is official.

Official packages go through On Location, the NFL’s hospitality partner, and prices for Super Bowl LXI have not been published. Resale sites are already showing listings, but nobody holds a confirmed seat until the two teams are known in late January. Anything sold before that is a placeholder, so read the small print on cancellations.

ABC and ESPN, with Joe Buck on play by play and Troy Aikman alongside him. It is the first Super Bowl on ABC since 2006 and the first ever on ESPN. Spanish coverage is on Univision and ESPN Deportes, and it streams on ESPN Unlimited and NFL+.

So far the Maxim Super Bowl Party on Saturday February 13, with the venue still to be named, and ESPN broadcasting from Santa Monica State Beach across the week. Most organisers announce between November and January, so the list fills out over the next few months. Everything we confirm goes straight onto the events page.

Premium parties and table packages tend to go four to eight weeks ahead, and they move faster once the two teams are decided in late January. If a particular party matters to you, get on the organiser’s mailing list now rather than waiting for the week itself.

The Metro K Line runs to Downtown Inglewood station, and a free shuttle covers the last stretch to the stadium. If you are driving, every on-site space needs a parking pass bought in advance. Turn up without one and you will be sent away to offsite parking. The City of Inglewood runs a Park and Go service with more than 4,000 remote spaces and shuttles into the stadium.

Nothing is confirmed for 2027 yet. ESPN’s beach set at Santa Monica is open to watch from the sand during the week. Watch parties and tailgates are usually announced in January, and they appear in our events listing as organisers send them through.
