Super Bowl LXI Tickets 2027: Prices, Official Packages and When to Buy

  • 8 min read

If you have started pricing Super Bowl 2027 tickets, you have probably noticed something frustrating: no two websites agree. Search the same hospitality package twice and you can get quotes thousands of dollars apart. That is not a glitch, and understanding why is the most useful thing you can learn before you spend anything.

Super Bowl LXI is at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on Sunday, February 14, 2027, kicking off at 6:30 pm Eastern. This guide covers the four legitimate ways in, what each one really costs, when prices move, and the checks that keep you out of trouble.

Why published prices disagree with each other

There is no single price for a Super Bowl seat. There are at least three different products being sold under the same words, and aggregator sites blur them together.

  • Face value is what the NFL prints on the ticket. Very few people pay it.
  • Hospitality packages bundle the ticket with food, drink, pregame access and sometimes hotel nights. The headline number is per person and includes a lot more than a seat.
  • Resale is the open market, where the price is whatever someone will pay that week.

Here is a real example of how that confuses people. Search Super Bowl LXI package prices and you will find figures of roughly 7,500 dollars and 19,000 dollars attached to what looks like the same thing. They are not the same thing. One is the entry hospitality tier and the other is a top-end club package. Aggregator sites regularly blur the two.

Even the official listings are not perfectly consistent. On Location’s main page and its team subsites have shown starting prices a thousand dollars apart for the same top tier, and the entry tier moved by a hundred dollars between snapshots. Treat any price you did not read on the seller’s own checkout page as an estimate.

The four ways to get Super Bowl 2027 tickets

1. Official hospitality packages

On Location is the NFL’s official hospitality partner and the only source selling packages backed by the league. Packages for Super Bowl LXI are already listed.

The league announced the Super Bowl LXI line-up in September 2026. These are the official package names:

  • Champions Club Premier. Outdoor all-inclusive hospitality near the stadium before the game, with live entertainment, NFL Legend appearances and an elevated menu, plus in-game club-level hospitality and Studio 61 access.
  • Club 67. In-stadium club-level hospitality with direct seat access before and during the game, premium bar, gourmet food and Studio 61 access.
  • Playmakers Club Elite. The same in-stadium club format at a higher tier, adding a pregame on-field experience, Beach House access and an NFL Legends event.
  • All-Inclusive Downtown. Accommodation in Downtown LA with a hosted lounge, gameday transport, all-weekend Super Bowl Experience access and a private Q and A with former players.
  • All-Inclusive Beach House. The Santa Monica option, based at Shutters on the Beach and Casa del Mar, with beachside amenities and deluxe gameday transport.
  • On The Fifty. The halfway-line package. It sold out during the presales and is gone.

Published starting prices have shown the entry hospitality tier at around 7,550 dollars per person and Champions Club Premier at 18,000 to 19,000 dollars, depending which On Location page you read. Check the live figure at checkout rather than trusting any quote, including this one.

One detail worth knowing: packages went to Priority Access and Access Guaranteed presale registrants first, which is how On The Fifty sold out before public sale even opened. On Location says the popular tiers tend to go well before the playoffs begin.

The advantage of buying here is simple: the ticket is guaranteed through the NFL, so the fraud risk is effectively zero.

2. Team allotments

Each participating team receives an allocation and distributes it to season ticket holders, usually by random selection. This is the cheapest legitimate route, and it is also the one you cannot plan for, because you will not know who is playing until the conference championships in late January 2027.

If you hold season tickets for any NFL team, check your account in January. Every club runs its own process and the windows are short.

3. The resale market

Most fans end up here. Use marketplaces that offer a buyer guarantee and that hold payment until the ticket transfers. Verified electronic transfer is the norm now, so be suspicious of anyone offering paper tickets or a meeting in person.

4. Competitions and brand promotions

Sponsors run giveaways every year, and they are real. They are also a lottery with long odds, so enter them, but do not build a trip around winning one.

When Super Bowl 2027 tickets are cheapest

Resale prices follow a fairly consistent shape across Super Bowl years:

  1. Now until the conference championships. Prices are speculative because nobody knows the teams. Inventory is thin.
  2. Late January, straight after the matchup is set. The single biggest spike. Fans of both teams buy at once. This is the worst moment to buy.
  3. Early February. A slow drift down as speculative sellers who bought early start to worry.
  4. The final 72 hours. Historically the softest window, because unsold inventory becomes worthless at kickoff. It is also the highest-risk window if you need a specific number of seats together.

If you are travelling from overseas and need to book flights early, that last-72-hours strategy is not really available to you. In that case a hospitality package is often the saner choice, because you lock certainty rather than chase a price.

What you actually get for the money

A hospitality package is not just a markup. Before you compare it to a bare resale seat, check what is bundled:

  • Pregame food and drink, often for several hours
  • Entry to a club space inside the stadium
  • Appearances by former players, live music, and a gift item
  • In the higher tiers, hotel nights and transfers
  • Access to Studio 61, a concert series at the Hollywood Palladium on February 12 and 13, 2027, with the line-up announced during the autumn

A bare seat means you are buying food and drink inside SoFi at stadium prices, and arranging your own everything else. The gap between the two numbers is smaller than it first looks once you have added a Los Angeles hotel on a holiday weekend.

Avoiding ticket fraud

Super Bowl week produces more ticket fraud than any other event in the United States. The rules are boring and they work:

  • Buy from the official partner, a major marketplace with a guarantee, or the team. Nowhere else.
  • Never pay by bank transfer, cryptocurrency, or any method without chargeback rights.
  • Refuse paper tickets. Super Bowl entry is mobile.
  • A price far below market is not a bargain, it is the bait.
  • Screenshot everything, including the listing and the transfer confirmation.

The same discipline applies to the party circuit that week. We explain the checks we run before anything appears on our Super Bowl week calendar.

You may not need a game ticket at all

This is worth saying plainly, because a lot of people spend five figures on a seat when the week itself was what they wanted.

Super Bowl Experience, the league’s public fan festival, is expected at the Los Angeles Convention Center and costs a small fraction of a game ticket. Opening Night, tailgates, watch parties and the whole nightlife circuit are sold separately from the game. Our Super Bowl event listings cover them as organisers confirm.

For a lot of visitors, a week in Los Angeles with a good watch party on the Sunday is a better trip than one afternoon inside the stadium and no budget left.

The short version

Super Bowl 2027 tickets come from four places: official hospitality packages, team allotments, resale, and competitions. Prices quoted on third-party sites are unreliable, so verify on the seller’s own checkout. The worst time to buy resale is the week the matchup is decided, and the cheapest is usually the final three days. And if the week matters more to you than the game, the rest of the calendar costs a fraction of the price.

Frequently asked questions

How much are Super Bowl 2027 tickets?

There is no single figure. Published starting prices for official hospitality have shown the entry tier at around 7,550 dollars per person and the Champions Club Premier tier at 18,000 to 19,000 dollars, with the hotel-inclusive packages higher again. Resale prices move constantly and spike once the two teams are known. Always check the live price at checkout.

Where can I buy official Super Bowl LXI tickets?

On Location is the NFL’s official hospitality partner and sells packages guaranteed through the league. Beyond that, team allotments go to season ticket holders, and major resale marketplaces with buyer guarantees handle the rest.

When do Super Bowl LXI tickets go on sale?

Official packages for Super Bowl LXI are already listed. Team allotments open after the conference championships in late January 2027, and resale inventory grows from that point until kickoff.

Is it cheaper to buy Super Bowl tickets at the last minute?

Historically the final 72 hours is the softest pricing window, because unsold tickets lose all value at kickoff. It is also the riskiest approach if you need several seats together or have already booked non-refundable travel.

Do I need a game ticket to enjoy Super Bowl week?

No. Super Bowl Experience, Opening Night, tailgates, watch parties and the party circuit are all sold separately from the game and cost far less.

Going for the seat, or for the week?

If it is the seat, set a ceiling now and decide in advance whether you are buying certainty through a package or chasing the late-window price. If it is the week, the rest of the calendar costs a fraction of a game ticket.
